East Coast Customs Spelga Pass Hillclimb 2009

Provisional event details have been released for the 2009 East Coast Customs Spelga Pass Hillclimb which will be held on Saturday 29th August 2009.
The race against the clock will be held over the smooth but demanding 1250 metre course starting at Glenveigh Bridge above Hilltown, Co.Down, round the famous 's' bends and cliff bound 'kinks' to the finish line at Spelga reservoir.

The Event will again be a scoring round of the
ANICC MILLERS MOTORSPORT OIL N.I HILLCLIMB CHAMPIONSHIP 2009.

At the start line after results ar published.
The class structure will be as follows:

Category A Overall: -

All cars complying with MSA Safety Regulations Sections C, & I for sprint and Hillclimb
vehicles entered in classes 1-15. As below.

Category B Classes: -

1. Modified Saloons and sports Cars up to 1400 cc, having no more than 2 valves per cylinder.

2. Modified Saloons and Sports cars over 1401cc and up to 2300cc having no more than 2 valves per cylinder.

3. Modified Saloons and Sports cars over 2301cc and all multi valve vehicles.

4. 2 Wheel Drive Rally cars up to 1700cc.

5. 2 Wheel Drive Rally cars over 1700cc.

6. Road going saloons and Sports Cars up to 1700cc.

7. Road going saloons and Sports Cars over 1700cc.

8. Modified Road and Kit cars up to 2500cc having no more than 2 valves per cylinder.

9. All other Modified Road and Kit cars.

10. Historic Road going Saloons and Sports Cars.

14. All other 4 WD drive modified

15. Vintage and PVT as defined by UVCC.

ROLL OVER BARS ARE MANDATORY ON ALL CARS EXCEPT THOSE ENTERED IN CLASS 15.
